Reef Beach
The closest stretch of coast to Uma Karas, Reef Beach is an easy, five-minute ride away. Calmer than the main Batukaras break, it's a good spot for an early swim, a slow walk at low tide, or watching the local surfers time the sets.

Legok Pari Beach
A little further along the coast, Legok Pari trades crowds for open sand and a wide horizon. It's the kind of beach best visited without much of a plan: bring a mat, watch the fishing boats come in, stay for the sunset if the sky cooperates.

Green Canyon's limestone walls and jade-green river are worth the detour: hop on a small boat upriver, then swim or cliff-jump where the current allows.
